This course is designed for the attendees to learn the basic physics, biological effects, beam hazards, non-beam hazards, and control measures for safe laser environments. This medical laser safety awareness course is for those who are new to the field. It provides an understanding of basic laser science and the components of commonly used medical lasers and their delivery systems.
